Top News and Magazines Apps on Android in Bulgaria Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top news and magazines apps on the Android platform in Bulgaria demonstrated varied performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed fluctuations in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

X (Formerly Twitter), published by X Corp., experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at $240 and peaking at approximately $1.4K in early December. Weekly downloads also rose steadily, reaching over 2.1K by the end of December. The app's active user base saw some variability, beginning the quarter at 91.4K and closing at around 86K.

Nova from Nova Broadcasting Group AD, despite not generating revenue, had a significant spike in downloads in early October with 1.1K but then experienced a decline, settling at 79 downloads by the end of the quarter.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar maintained a steady increase in user engagement, with active users climbing from 4.9K to nearly 6K. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly but remained consistent, mostly ranging between 236 and 375.

Way2News Daily News App saw a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 326 in early December. The app also had a noticeable rise in active users, reaching a high of 17.1K in late November before tapering off to 13.1K by the end of the year.

Finally, Opera News: breaking & local from Opera showed a stable performance in active users, starting at 1.3K and slightly decreasing to 1.1K by December's end. Downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 185 in early December.
